I was born in a magical tiny lake in northern Italy. After a childhood spent playing guitar in a couple of Heavy Metal bands, immersing myself in music and cinema, and forcing parents and friends to act in my first film experiments, I finally moved to the big city and graduated at the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. I began my career working in motion graphics and post-production, then ventured out with my camera to shoot music videos, branded content, and short films. Later on, I expanded my role as a narrative and TV commercial director with a focus on comedy, lifestyle, and storytelling. After collaborating with several production houses in Italy and working with top agencies like Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, McCann, Saatchi & Saatchi, Wunderman Thompson, and others, I recently entered the international market, shooting in the Middle East and Asia. I have a strong passion for comedy and lifestyle genres and enjoy collaborating with creatives and actors while overseeing the look and feel of the projects. Some of my commercials have received awards as well as my short movies. In 2020, I took advantage of the lockdown to create an animation series released on Amazon Prime Video Italy, which provided a new and exciting directing experience. Recently, I co-founded a Directors Duo called "Two Shots" with a dear and talented colleague director. A parallel project to my "solo" career, focused on a contemporary and fresh vision of "food" and "live action," which led us to direct a major Coca-Cola campaign, on air since March 2024, for the Asian market as our first project.
